Welcome to Doncaster NDC

New Deal for Communities (NDC) is a Government funded regeneration programme.  There are 39 NDC partnerships in total across the country with the problems of each NDC area being unique.  However all NDCs tackle five key themes:

 Crime
 Education
 Health
 Housing and the Environment
 Jobs, Training & Local Enterprise

Doncaster NDC has been allocated £52 million until 31st March 2011 to invest in the following five areas of Doncaster:

 Nether Hall
 Balby Bridge
 Hyde Park
 Hexthorpe 
 Balby Woodfield

The underlying strength of the scheme is that it has been shaped by community views and aspirations and is being delivered in partnership with key agencies.
